Double Wide Fine Wire Live Bait #10548R

”Plain and simple…the light yet strong wire lets bait swim more naturally and the wider gap insures a higher percentage of hook-ups.”

WHAT MAKES THIS HOOK BETTER

  • Special Wide Gap:  the gap on this new hook design has been opened up significantly, on average 20% wider than standard live bait Beak hooks. This increased gap means there’s no interference from live bait at hook set and there’s a tremendous positive impact on hook-up ratios.
  • Slightly Angled Point/Oversize Barb: two important features that insure the hook not only grabs during hook sets but holds during the fight.
  • Fine Wire:  lighter wire permits a more life-like presentation,
allowing anglers to present live bait naturally.
The lighter wire also greatly aids in hook penetration, especially with light tackle presentations
  • Nor-Tempered:  while the fine wire insures natural presentations, Mustad’s exclusive tempering process makes the hook up to 30% stronger than conventional tempering methods.
  • 4.3 Microsharp Point Technology: the point length is engineered to be 4.3 times the wire diameter of the hook, which is the optimum ratio for maximum sharpness and strength. Ultra Point hooks are 20% sharper and designed to stay sharper longer.
  • Versatile: three applications with one hook design. Double Wide is ideal for use on crawler harnesses, live bait presentations
and as a drop shot hook.
